History
The
company name Iondent originates from the word "electron - ion" and "a
tooth - dent". The company was registered under this name in March 1981,
when a young dentist Tapio Lempiäinen began to design a dental care
station for his own dental clinic and realized that suitable ergonomic
furniture for dental care rooms did not exist on the market. That is how
the idea to produce dental furniture in his own factory came about.
First iondent-dental care stations were made to order in a carpentry
workshop. Later the company itself started to manufacture the furniture.
Currently iondent-dental furniture is sold, in addition to Finland, also
in Scandinavia and the Baltic States, Britain, and Russia.
Production
Iondent’s manufacturing facilities are located in Kurikka, Western
Finland, Ostrobothnia. The company has all necessary production machines
and equipment for the manufacture of specialized furniture. The most
modern technology is used. Digitally controlled CNC – technology is used
in manufacturing the furniture, and this allows making furniture of
non-standard configuration. The company has a skilled and professional
staff.
Dental clinic Taledent Oy
Dental clinic Taledent, in which the dentist Tapio Lempiäinen receives
patients, is equipped with iondent-dental furniture developed by him. Thus he has the
possibility to test the functionality and quality of iondent-furniture
in the daily work of a dentist. As a result, the buyer of iondent-furniture
gets ready to use, well-considered dental furniture solutions that have
been tested in practice. Almost all models of iondent-furniture are
represented inside the clinic Taledent Oy, which operates as a Show room.
